FRANKLIN – Kenneth M. Tracy, 52, died unexpectedly Aug. 5, 2008, in Franklin. He was born July 8, 1956, in Bangor, the son of Kenneth H. and Hazel (Hardison) Tracy. Kenny graduated from Sumner Memorial High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated K. H. Tracy & Sons construction company with his brother, Richard, for more than 30 years. Kenny’s true passion was flying. He also enjoyed music, classic cars, water sports and traveling. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Katherine (Sharpe) Tracy; his adored children; son, Kristopher; daughters, Katelyn and Kenzey, all of Franklin; brother, Richard Tracy and wife, Shelly, of Hancock; sister, Holly Tracy of Franklin; nephews, Dustin and Dylan Tracy and Steven Atherton Jr.; and niece, Tracy Downing. He was predeceased by his parents. There will be a service of remembrance 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Franklin Veterans’ Club. Anyone who would like to share a memory may do so at that time. In honor of Kenny’s lifetime priority of his children’s education, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to his children’s educational trust fund at Union Trust Company, care of Linda Hamblen, P.O.
