HOULTON – Kenneth R. Merrill Sr., 61, died Nov. 15, 2003, at Alba, N.Y. He was born April 2, 1942, in Lowell, Mass., the son of Elwin and Marion (Reedy) Merrill. Kenny enjoyed spending time with his family and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his mother of Chelmsford, Mass., he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rebecca (Runyan) Merrill of Houlton; eight children, Mindy, Ashley, and Jesse Merrill, Michael, Patty, Lyndalee, Kenny Jr. and Marc; stepchildren, Reni, Sherry, Kim, and Vickie; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Elaine Speranza; two brothers, Brian Merrill and Bobby Merrill, all of Massachusetts; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and several close friends. He was predeceased by his father; and one brother, Ronald. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. David Rowe.
