NEWPORT – Kenneth V. Ludden, 80, died unexpectedly June 28, 2005, at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born Dec. 7, 1924, at Plymouth, the son of Charles and Florence (Gifford) Ludden. He was a long-time member of the Newport Full Gospel Church where he served as a board member. Kenneth worked as an auto mechanic at several Newport businesses, and later owned his own business, Ludden’s Auto Repair, retiring in 1984. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eveleine (Braley) Ludden of Newport; three sons and their wives, Royce and Shirley Ludden of Palmyra, Glenn and Patty Ludden of Etna, Brett and Janice Ludden of Pittsfield; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Erma Hopkins of Bangor and Alice Hurlburt of Pittsfield. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Newport Full Gospel Church, Elm Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, July 1, with the Rev. Carl Engstrom and Associate Pastor Brian Woodbury officiating. Burial will follow at the Sawyer Cemetery, Plymouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Newport Full Gospel Church, P.O.
