DEBARY, Fla. – Our father and loving husband, Kent Edward Michaud passed away April 29, 2008, at home with his family. Kent was born March 23, 1936, and was the child of the late Pete and Daisy Michaud of Island Falls. Kent was with the U.S. Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. Kent retired from the Air Force after serving a 20-year career. After retiring from the service, he was employed by Save-A-Lot Foods for 20 years in the DeLand, Fla., area where he was a store manager. Along with his great passion for fishing, hunting and cars, Kent spent most of his time with his seven grandkids, whom he loved deeply. Kent is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marguerite Michaud; and his three children, Cheryl Gorman, Kent Michaud Jr. and Sue Asa, all of the DeBary, Fla., area. A memorial service will be held in DeBary, Fla. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Florida Hospital Hospice, care of Ormond Beach, Florida.
