FORT FAIRFIELD – Kristopher L. Osgood, 42, husband of Dianna Osgood, passed away Wednesday morn- ing May 4, 2005, at his Fort Fairfield residence following a brief illness. He was born July 25, 1962, at Gary, Ind., the son of Ronald and Wendy (Ovenshire) Osgood. Kristopher grew up in New York State and Pennsylvania, spending his teenage years in Genesse, Pa. He was a graduate of the Northern Potter High School in Ulysses, Pa. and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force. Kristopher was married to Dianna Dufour on Oct. 22, 1982. He was employed by Columbia Forest Products, Presque Isle and will be remembered as a hard worker who loved all people and the outdoors. He was easy going, casual, genuine and unselfish. Mr. Osgood is survived by his wife of 22 years, Dianna Osgood of Fort Fairfield; one son, Kristopher B. Osgood, who is currently stationed at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo.; two daughters, Kandice M. Osgood and Kellie L. Osgood, both of Fort Fairfield; his mother and stepfather, Wendy and Ned Windus of Bellevue, Fla.; his father and stepmother, Ronald and Rheunna Osgood of Genesse, Pa.; one brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Karen Osgood of Houston, Texas; one sister, Martha Osgood of New York City; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Brian and Patricia Ross of Fort Fairfield; brothers-in-law, Danny, Donald and David Dufour, all of Fort Fairfield; sister-in-law, Debby Brown of Wilcox, Ariz.; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday, May 9, at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. There will be no funeral service. A reception in Kristopher’s memory will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, May 10, at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield. It is requested that those who attend calling hours and the reception dress casually as Kristopher would want you to do so.
