VASSALBORO – Lana Jo Cutting, 59, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, after a long and arduous illness. She was born March 7, 1948, in West Enfield, to Pat and Gloria (Christensen) Swallow. Lana worked for Keyes Fibre Co., now known as Huhtamaki, for more than 35 years, most recently as an inventory control accountant. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, shopping and was a dedicated fan to all family sporting events. Lana was a devoted friend, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her selfless nature, generosity and unyielding love. She is survived by her husband, companion and best friend, Lloyd; her daughter, Jodi and son-in-law, David; her grandchildren and greatest joy in life, Ryan, Sidney and Ally; her brother, Doug and his wife, Patty; her sister, Susan and her husband, Tim; her sister, Jan and her husband, Rick; half brother, Donald and his wife, Diane; her nieces and nephews, Karyn, Stephanie, Bryan, Kate, Martha, Laura, Anna, Chris-topher, Cory and Cara; six great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many dear friends. Visitation will be held noon-2 p.m. with a memorial service to begin 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. Interment will be held at Cross Hill Cemetery, Vassalboro, immediately after. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Lana to the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care, care of MaineGeneral Health, Office of Philanthropy, P.O. Box 828, Waterville, ME 04903-0828.
