ORONO and LINCOLN Larry David Shorey, 55, died June 11, 2004, at Treats Falls House in Orono, after a short illness. He was born July 27, 1948, in Lincoln, the son of Floyd and Louise (Orcutt) Shorey. Larry was a great lover of country music and enjoyed going to musical events whenever he could. He especially loved all the great people at Treats Falls House, who gave him care, love and devotion for many years. Surviving members of the family are two brothers and two sisters, Greg Shorey of Lowell, Leslie Jones of Lincoln, Ronda Harriman of Lowell, and Linda Chattin of Needville, Texas; several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Lincoln Cemetery, with the Rev. Keith Shorey officiating. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
