FORT KENT and GRAND ISLE – Laudia (Bernier) Cyr, 83, died Sept. 29, 2006, at an Eagle Lake health care facility. She was born March 11, 1923, at Eagle Lake, the daughter of Octave and Delina (Michaud) Bernier. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home until time of departure for Grand Isle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at the St. Gerard-Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Grand Isle. Burial will be after at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, Northern Maine Medical Center, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
