STETSON – Laurice A. Savage, 69, died Aug. 6, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 15, 1937, in Stetson, the son of Verner and Bertha (Burrill) Savage. Laurice retired from Lane Construction Co. after 28 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, four-wheeling and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Glenda (Townsend) Savage of Stetson; one son and his wife, Brian Savage and Holly of Seal Cove; one daughter and her husband, Gayle and Dan Herweg of Brewer; two grandsons, Nicholas Worster of Brewer and David Savage of Seal Cove; two stepbrothers, Maynard and Phillip Call; one niece and one nephew; and very close friends, Val and Carol Belanger of Levant. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers. A service of remembrance will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev.
