PASSADUMKEAG – Laurice “Bun” Emery, 76, husband of Diane (Smith) Emery, passed away Jan. 9, 2005, at his home. He was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Stacyville the son of Leonard and Grace (Perkins) Emery. Bun worked as an auto body mechanic for many years. He drove stock cars for many years, and was the owner of Exeter Speedway before he moved to Connecticut. He was a member of Star in the East Lodge No. 60 A.F. & A.M., Old Town and was a member of Anah Temple Shrine. In addition to his wife, Diane; he is survived by two daughters, April Burnell of Lincoln and Laurina Jacobs of Georgia; a brother, Ronald Emery of Hermon; three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Masonic Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
