DOVER-FOXCROFT – Lavance M. Palmer, 83, wife of the late Ernest R. Palmer of Sangerville, died Oct. 6, 2006, at Hibbard Nursing Home. She was born June 2, 1923, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Maurice and Doris (Seavey) Lord. She was a devoted homemaker, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, who always took time to listen to everyone around her. She will be dearly missed for the love, wisdom and strength she gave to her family and friends and anyone who knew her. She was a true lady. She is survived by two sons, Ralph Palmer and his wife, Linda of Abbot, Robert Palmer of Sangerville; three daughters, Mary Jane Armstrong and her husband, Wayne, of Sangerville, Lavance Armstrong and her husband, David, of Parkman and her youngest daughter, Rosalie Heath and her husband, Robert, of Sherman. She is also survived by two brothers, Henry Lord and his wife, Donice, Roy Lord and his wife, Marlene; a sister, Helen Nicholas, all of Dover-Foxcroft; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call from noon until time of funeral service 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor David Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Jackman Corner Cemetery, Sangerville.
