NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. God received angel, Norma C. Taylor, Oct. 5, 2006, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Norma was born Nov. 18, 1926, in Maine, to Mary and Theodore Moore. Norma lived with her husband of 54 years, Donald G. Taylor, in Maine, Connecticut and for the past 16 years in Englewood, Fla., and most recently, North Fort Myers, Fla., in order for them to be close to her adored great-grand-daughter, Charlee Sue Hatter. Norma had a very special bond with this sweet little girl, and her family will tell her often just how much her “Mamie” loved her. We will sadly miss our sweetheart but take comfort in knowing she is, at last, at peace and watching over each of us. She was, and will continue to be, loved, cherished and sadly missed by all who have known her. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald G. Taylor of North Fort Myers, Fla.; daughter, Peggy DuBrow and husband, Robert, of Maine; daughter, Linda Birnbaum and husband, Bernd, of South Carolina; grandchildren, Melissa Taylor of Florida, Tracey and Stephanie Walsh of California; Robert Beloff of Connecticut, Eric and Peter Beloff of Maine; their spouses and five great-grandchildren; Norma’s brother and his wife, John and Elizabeth Moore of Maine; by many dear family members and friends in Maine, Connecticut and Florida. She was predeceased by her parents; a sister and brother, Margaret and Theodore Moore; and a daughter, Judith Walsh. Norma will be laid to rest at a date yet to be announced at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. In lieu of flowers we ask that you please donate to your local Humane Society. Arrangements in the care of Brookings-Smith, Bangor. Sleep well, our angel, until we are all together again. Your loving family.
