MILLINOCKET – Lawrence C. Reider, 65, passed away Monday, May 17, 2004, at a local hospital. He was born May 4, 1939, in Atlantic City, N.J., the son of John and Bessie (Johnson) Reider. He was married to Marie Grace Perri on Dec. 31, 1958. She passed away in 1998, after almost 40 years of marriage. Lawrence and Marie raised their family in Absecon, N.J., during the 60s and 70s and later moved to Maine for the quiet life. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed 4-wheeling with his friends, and wood working. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Navy. Lawrence was a dedicated husband and father, who truly loved his family. He is survived by his four children, Steven and his wife, Barbara Reider, of Yonkers, N.Y., Christine Landry of Madison, Michael and wife, Lisa Reider, of Millinocket, and Suzanne and husband, James D’Amato, of Yonkers, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Matthew, Catherine, Jessica, Danielle, James Thomas, Nicholas; a special friend, Shirley Daigle of Millinocket; one brother, Richard Reider, three sisters, Margaret White, Barbara Gallagher and Martha Roeske. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2004, at R. L.
