MONTICELLO – Lawrence E. Boyce, 76, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at his son’s residence in Bentonville, Ark., while visiting family. He was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Monticello, the son of Wilmont and Verna (Brewer) Boyce. Larry was employed for many years by Roy Wheeler and then by Bradbury Barrel for 25 years. He drove truck for many years and was currently employed by Dexter Cowperthwaite. He was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Monticello; and also served on the church board. Larry is survived by his mother, Verna of Monticello; children, Larry Dean of Bentonville, Ark., Daniel and his fianc?e, Pauline Somes, of Ellsworth, Diane and Tyrone Emery of Cary, Sandra Boyce and fianc?, Kenny Lee, of Houlton, Janet Boyce and fianc?, Fred Botting of Houlton; step-sons, Daniel and David Caldwell; grandchildren, Adrian, Donna, Steven, Joseph, Nikki, Jason, Crissy, Erica, Jonathan, Jordan, Jeremiah, Danny and John; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; a brother, Edward Boyce of Monticello; stepmother, Avis; three half sisters; Nina, Linda and Sally, also a half brother, Lloyd. In addition to his father, Larry was predeceased by his wife and soulmate, Donna Marie Boyce on Feb. 24, 2005. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2005, at the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Monticello. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at the church with Reverends Frank Randall and Stephen Izzo officiating. Interment will take place at Jewell Cemetery following the service.
