PRESQUE ISLE – Lawrence E. Strout Sr., 74, died Dec. 20, 2006, at his residence. He was born Aug. 18, 1932, in South Portland, the son of Lawrence C. and Mildred E (Perry) Strout. He loved his camp at Squa Pan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked building radio controlled airplanes in his spare time. He is survived by his wife, Carolan J. (Downing) Strout of Presque Isle; a son, Lawrence E. Strout Jr.; and a daughter, Betty Ann Strout, both of Los Angeles. A private graveside service will be held Friday for the family.
