LUBEC – Lawrence K. Hall Jr., 74, died Aug. 23, 2007, at Oceanview Nursing Home after a long illness. Larry was born Oct. 19, 1932, in Greenville, son of Lawrence and Acelia Carey Hall. Larry graduated from Ocean City, N.J., High School, attended Dickinson College and was drafted and served in the U.S. Army in Europe from 1953 to 1955, as a radar signal specialist. Larry worked on the construction of the Cutler towers and graduated from the University of Maine in Orono in 1961. After the university, Larry worked 28 years for the state of New Jersey as an analyst. Upon retirement, Larry moved to Lubec, as he loved the area and supported many local charities and schools. Larry is survived by his sister, Nancy Hall Peacock; nephews, Robert J. Peacock, David K. Hall, Phillip Hall and Richard Hall; and nieces, Sally Peacock, Kerri Harding, Pamela Nerlin and Deborah Hall.
