MILFORD – Lee A. Hatch, 81, passed away early Sunday, May 14, 2006, at his residence. He was born July 31, 1924, in Penobscot, the son of the late Merle and Isabell (Leach) Hatch. Lee was employed with Bangor Hydro for 37 years. He worked as a mechanic for the Civil Service for three years and for John T. Cyr and Sons for four years. He enjoyed hunting and gardening. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife, Marcia; four children, Stephen Hatch and his wife, Mary, Jeane Hamm and her husband, Earl, Wally Hatch and his wife, Linda, Ted Hatch and his wife, Catherine; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, Ben, Jon, Joshua and his wife, Sarah, Elizabeth Eaton and her husband, Paul, Daniel, Adam, Mary Anna, Gene, Amanda, Trisha, Chris and his wife, Deneen, Melissa Corliss and her husband, Neal, Tiger and his wife, Valery, Robbie, Amber, Kelly and Brian Ketchen, four stepchildren, Steven Fieger, Ronald Fieger and his wife, Beth, Milissa Extrom and her husband, John, Michelle Morneault; special niece, Mary Baker; and nephew, Charlie Hamel; several other nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law, Pat Hatch. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Hatch. A celebration of life will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with Pastor Steve Stobel officiating. Burial will be held immediately following the service at the Milford Cemetery.
