WINTHROP – Lee Matthew St Hilaire, 20, of Clark Street, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Augusta on March 14, 1983 the son of Jon and Jean (Laliberte) St. Hilaire. He graduated from Winthrop High School in 2002 and was currently enrolled as a fulltime student at Husson College. Lee was an outgoing person with a great personality and smile. He touched the lives of everyone that knew him. One of the things that brought great pride and joy to his life was his niece, Nat. He is survived by his mother, Jean St. Hilaire of Winthrop; his father, Jon St Hilaire and Betty Girard of Winthrop; his brother, Jed St Hilaire and his daughter, Natalie of Winthrop; maternal grandparents, Arlene and Lawrence Laliberte of Augusta; paternal grandmother, Eleanor St Hilaire of Winthrop; his best friend and love, Tia Pomerleau and her parents, Carlene and Boo-la Steele of Winthrop; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Visiting will be held 2-8 p.m. Friday at the old Winthrop High School on Highland Ave., where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson, chaplain at Husson College, officiating. Burial will be in Glenside Cemetery, Winthrop, in the spring.
