GRAND ISLE – Leo James Carrier, 64, died unexpectedly March 23, 2008, in Caribou. He was born July 13, 1943, in Van Buren, the son of Clovis and Annie (Beaulieu) Carrier. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia (Cyr) Carrier of Grand Isle; two sons, Dale Carrier and his wife, Amber, of Bangor, and Ryan Carrier and his wife, Treena, of Millinocket; one daughter, Tricia Carrier and her fiance, Kevin Michaud, of Bangor; two brothers, Edgar Carrier and his wife, Marce, of Madawaska, and Reno Carrier and his wife, Pauline, of Plainville, Conn.; three sisters, Jeannine Daigle and her husband, Albert, of St. David Theresa Roberge and her husband, Don, of Florida, and Rejeanne Ross and her husband, Aurele, of Bristol, Conn.; five grandchildren, Tanner, Dimitri, Dominic, Jocelyn and Miles; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Carrier and Therese Gallant; and one brother-in-law, Gerald Lavertu. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 12 siblings. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 12:30 p.m. Thursday until time of services at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be later in the spring at St. Gerard Cemetery.
