INDIAN TOWNSHIP and BANGOR – Leon Robinson, 36, died unexpectedly Sept. 28, 2006, in Indian Township. He was born Feb. 17, 1970, at Bangor, the son of James and Cynthia (Bassett) Robinson. Leon had a kind and gentle heart and a good word for everyone. Leon graduated from Bangor High School with a diploma in fitness and nutrition. He was predeceased by his mother June, 2006. He is survived by his brother, Michael Bassett of Madison; his aunts and uncles, Theresa Brown of Colorado, Barbara Bassett of Indian Township, Freda DiNapoli of Indian Township, Linda Bassett of New York, Veronica Pirrone of New York, Russell Socoby of Pleasant Point, Michael Francis of Old Town and Carroll Bassett of Indian Township; and many cousins. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at Saint Anne’s Mission Church, Peter Dana Point, by Father Frank Morin. Burial will be private.
