LEONA ARLINE WORCESTER BANGOR and WINTERPORT Leona Arline Worcester, 77, died Sept. 22, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born April 3, 1928, in Bangor the daughter of Warren “John” and Pearl (Hinkley) Fletcher. Leona was a life long member of the Salvation Army and enjoyed going to church there. She was an avid card player and enjoyed times playing with her family and friends. Leona was proud of her family and loved time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leona is survived by four sons, Eugene LaHaye of Bangor, Richard LaHaye and wife, Marsha, of Winterport, Donald LaHaye and friend, Crissy, of Bangor, Timothy LaHaye and wife, Marta, of Bangor; three daughters, Arline Wells and friend, Bill, of California, Kathy Paris and husband, Dan, of Bangor, Robin LaHaye and companion, George Pierce, of Kenduskeag; four sisters, Janice Hinkley of Bangor, Jeanette Lanza of Bangor, Lanore Fletc-her of Kenduskeag, Ethel Fletc-her of Winterport; a brother, Alton Fletcher of Caribou; 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grand-children, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Merton Worcester; a daughter, Donna Marie LaHaye; a son, Arthur E. LaHaye Jr.; a brother, and a sister. Friends are invited to visit 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, with Majors Doug and Debbie Burr, Pastors of the Salvation Army, officiating.
