CHARLESTON – Leone (Huntington) Lord Smith, 86, died Oct. 13, 2007, at her home. She was born Aug. 9, 1921, in Bradford, the daughter of Charles and Edna (Foss) Huntington. Leone was a life-long resident of Bradford and Charleston, and was a member of the Rebekahs and Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by three sons, C. Dennis Lord of Corinna, Stuart B. Lord and his wife, Karen, of Littleton, N.H., and Allan L. Lord and his wife, Cheryl, of Charleston; stepson, William Smith; two daughters and their husbands, Phyllis (Lord) Bean and David of Corinth and Susan M. (Smith) Allard and Gary of Bradford; 11 grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, John, Jennifer, Stephen, Rho-nda, Sandra, Amy, Benjamin, Rhianna and Alicia; 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two husbands, Lyman L. Lord and Forrest Smith. A service of remembrance will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Ron Libby, pastor of Souls Harbor Ministries, officiating. Friends may call 11 a.m. until time of the service Wed-nesday. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, immediately after the service.
