CASWELL – Levi A. White, 69, passed away peacefully June 1, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1938, in Old Town, the son of Anthony and Gladys White. He was a dedicated employee of the Department of Transportation for 34 years, retiring as a highway foreman in 1993. He loved spending time with his family, and had a great love for hunting and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia (Snelson) White; one son and three daughters, Paul Barnes of Fitchburd, Mass., Debra Sites and her husband, Tim, of Caribou, Becky Dupuis and her husband, Gary, of Ashburnham, Mass., and Danielle Paradis and her husband, Leland, of Caribou. He will also be sadly missed by his eight grandchildren and three great-grand-children. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. There will be no calling hours. There will be a memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Sacred Heart Church, Van Buren Road, Caribou.
