ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla., and PITTSFIELD – Levora A. ”Vodie” Fullerton, 85, of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Pittsfield, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 22, 2003. She was born Jan. 27, 1918, in Searsport. Vodie formerly worked in area woolen mills and more recently spent 13 years as a CNA and ward clerk at Mid Maine Medical Center in Waterville. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary, Detroit Night Drifters Snowmobile Club, and the Elks, Moose and Eagles clubs. Vodie was predeceased by parents, Herbert and Geneva Tozier of Searsport; husband, William Fullerton; sisters, Glenice Littlefield and Avis Braley; brother, Pembroke Tozier; and son-in-law, Richard Hopkins Sr. She is survived by daughter, Irma and husband, Fred Partridge, and the Partridge family; special niece, Maxine and her husband, Lee Leavitt; grandson, Lyndon and his wife, Pamela Hopkins, and their children, Nicole and Richard; grandson, Richard Jr. and his wife, Rhonda Hopkins, and their children, Andrew, Isaac and Elizabeth; granddaughter, Carla Hopkins and her life partner, Victoria Eleftheriou; stepdaughter, Sharon Norris and the Norris family; several nieces, nephews cousins and many close and wonderful friends. Vodie touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Vodie requested that no formal funeral services be held but a memorial service will take place in the Spring of 2004.
