HUDSON – Lewis A. Fye, 77, died Oct. 10, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1929, in Lock Haven, Pa. Lewis served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Kenduskeag Lodge No. 137 AF & AM and a member of Anah Shriners, where he was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp. He is survived by three daughters, Linda Clarke of Bangor, Judith Philbrook of Louisiana, and Sandra and her husband, Clay McLaughlin, of Topsham; one son, Mark Fye of Lewiston; stepchildren, Diane Goulet and her husband, Al, of Manchester, N.H., Michael Fletcher of Massachusetts, and Jeffrey Fletcher and his wife, Beth, of Ellington, Conn.; one sister, Mildred Wirth of Hollywood, Md.; 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grand-children; brothers-in-law, Kerry and his wife, Joanne, of Windsor, and Raymond Hisler of Lamoine; sister-in-law, Ginny and her husband, John Oliver, of Brunswick.; beloved friends, Pam and Donald Townsend, John Greene, and Cheryl Chapman; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Fye; and son, Richard Fye. A service of remembrance will be held 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating. A Masonic memorial service will also be held by the officers and members of Kenduskeag Lodge.
