WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Lillian A. (Martin) Thomann, 78, of Center Street, Wallingford, Conn. formerly of Orcutt Court, North Haven, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter P. Thomann. She was born June 8, 1925, in New Haven, daughter of the late Earnest and Mae Stubbs Martin. She had been a resident of North Haven for more than 40 years until moving to Wallingford this past year. She was employed by Yale New Haven Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the AXP Sorority. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Robert Tyrrell of Wallingford and Martha and Joe Fattore of Branford; her son, Kergan Thomann of Northport; nine grandchildren, Christine Smith, Michael and Jennifer Tyrrell, Nina and Bridget Fattore, Eric, Adam, Kergan and Nicholas Thomann; four great-grandchildren, Madison, Abigayle and Jake Smith and Savanna Francis Thomann; her sister, Dorothy Root of Deland, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford.
