HUDSON – Lillian Irene Peasley, 96, the wife of the late Earl Peasley, died April 27, 2004, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 10, 1907, in Old Town, the daughter of Samuel and Marion (Dyer) Tibbetts. She had worked many years as a secretary at Prudential Insurance Co. and also as a secretary and bookkeeper at the Penobscot Shoe Co. Lillian had also served as a bookkeeper for the town of Hudson for several years. She was a member of the Hudson Baptist Church and the Hudson Senior Citizens. She is survived by her nephews, Duane Tibbetts of Hudson, Chandler Tibbetts of Dexter and Gilbert Tibbetts of Old Town; her great-niece, Lori Tibbetts and her significant other, Samuel Ketch, and Samuel III, all of Milford; great-nephews, Duane Tibbetts Jr. and his wife, Andrea, and their son, Duane, all of Old Town and Floyd J. Tibbetts and his wife, Patty, of Old Town; her very special and dear friends, Dale and Janice Pineo and family of Hudson. Lillian was predeceased by two brothers, Floyd and Charles Tibbetts; and a sister, Virginia Whitmore. Graveside memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2004, at the Hudson Cemetery, Hudson. Arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
