BANGOR – Lillian N. Ross, 94, died Feb. 28, 2008, at a Brewer health care facility. She was born Oct. 24, 1913, in Carmel, the daughter of Emerson E. and Gladys (Carter) Ross. Lillian was employed with Sandler and Tucker Shoe factories. She enjoyed bowling and had won many trophies. She is survived by a special nephew, Roby Ross and Cheryl Foss of Levant; a special niece, Marie and her husband, Jay Bryant, of Carmel; several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters, Viola, Ruth, Zelma and Mona; and three brothers, Ralph, Gene and Roby. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with Pastor Tammy Noyes of Carmel Full Gospel Church of Restoration, officiating.
