CARIBOU – Linda Marie Little Hebert, 59, wife of Leo Hebert Jr., died July 16, 2008, in Mars Hill, after a long illness. She was born Sept. 14, 1948, in Caribou, the daughter of the late Sterling C. and Dorothy (Tilley Theriault) Little. She attended Woodland and Caribou schools, and attended United Pentecostal Church of Caribou and Abundant Life Mission. She was employed at Aroostook Shoe, Presque Isle, for several years. She was also employed by American Kitchen Foods and Cyr Bros., both in Caribou. She was then employed in the housekeeping department at Cary Medical Center, where she had retired due to her failing health. Linda enjoyed gospel concerts and gatherings with family and friends. She also enjoyed all of the beautiful flowers her husband planted for her every summer and she loved being in her back yard, in her swing. She also enjoyed a good bonfire with family and friends. Linda was known for her great cooking and will be especially remembered for her baked beans and bread. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Leo Hebert Jr., whom she married July 16, 1966; her son, Joseph Hebert, U.S. Army, Fort Carson, Colo.; her grandson, Kevin Hebert of Clinton; a foster niece, Denise Conroy and her husband, Steve, and their children, Savannah, Abigail, Stephie, Ann Marie and Douglas, all of Washburn; her close friend, Cheryl Newbegin of Caribou; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Clyde Little of Caribou, Wayne and Deanna Little of Woodland, David and Gail Little of Waterbury, Conn., Michael and Sherry Theriault of Presque Isle and Stephen and Penny Theriault of Levant; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Beverly Drake and Carol and Wayne Hewitt, all of Caribou; many nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her parents; and an infant brother, Richard Amos Little. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou, with the Rev.
