DEER ISLE – Linda M. Cormier, 38, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Sunday, April 23, 2006, from a Blue Hill hospital. She was born March 15, 1968, in Bisbee, Ariz., the daughter of Charles and Marilyn (Davis) Snelling. Linda attended The Rock Church in Bangor. She was a devoted mentor, friend, and mother to her children, and was a loving and supportive wife to her husband, Mark. Linda also enjoyed flower gardening, quilting, and sewing. Linda is survived by her husband, Mark Cormier of Deer Isle; three children, Brandi, Bethany, and Timothy, all of Deer Isle; a sister, Brenda Sanborn and her husband, Brian, of Alton; two brothers, Charles Snelling Jr. and his wife, Debbie, of Michigan, and Glenn Snelling and his wife, Deborah, of Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frances and Lucille Cormier of Deer Isle; two brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Cormier and his wife, Heather, of Deer Isle, and Michael Cormier and his wife, Darlene, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Terri Manche and her husband, Mark, of Gainesville, Fla. Linda was predeceased by her parents. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 9 Thurlow’s Hill Rd., Stonington with the Rev.
