MILLINOCKET – Linda M. Smith, 62, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 11, 2006, at a local healthcare facility. She was born May 9, 1943, in Farmington, the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Currie) Douglass. Linda was an avid collector of dolls, Indian keepsakes and loved to watch Law and Order. Most of all she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who loved to spend time with her family. Linda is survived by four daughters, Laura Riley of New Hampshire, Jean and her husband, Mark Bulley, of Millinocket, Joan and her husband, James Brown, of Lebanon and Jennifer McIntyre of Millinocket; two sons, James and his wife, Penny Sadler, of Sanford and Thomas Smith Jr. and his wife, Tracy, of Millinocket; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Corrine Douglass of Falmouth, Louise and her husband, Paul Levesque, of Fairfield, Joanne and her husband, Eugene Shaw, of Yarmouth, Barbara Sanborn of Portland and Marcia and her husband, John Dulac, of Buxton; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Smith Sr.; and brother, Steven H. Douglass in 2003. As per Linda’s request there will be no funeral services. Arrangements by R.L.
