WADE – Linwood “Tonto” L. Rushinal Sr., 64, of Gardner Creek Road, died on Dec. 4, 2003, at 7:45 a.m. at a Bangor hospital. He was born on March 29, 1939 in Ashland. Linwood was one of ten children to Frank and Louise Rushinal. He had been employed by the State of Maine as a Forest Ranger for more than 34 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Linwood loved nature as well as many sports including hunting, fishing and trapping. He also loved to jump on his four wheelers and snow sleds to go watch the deer yards or see the eagles fly. He was a man with great love and knowledge for life as well as a heart of gold. When Linwood moved up the Gardner Creek Road in Wade in 1982, with him being the natural woodsman he was he became as the “Original Cricker.” So soar with the eagles as you live on in our hearts. With much love, we’ll miss you. Surviving him are two sons, Linwood L. Rushinal Jr. and his girlfriend, Andrea M. Churchill, with their four children, Ashley E. Churchill, Pamela F. Churchill, Justin E. Saucier, Alicia A. Saucier of the Gardner Creek Rd., Wade, “more crickers”, a son, Marhia B. Rushinal and his two sons, Mason S.B. Pelletier and Tanner B. Rushinal; three daughters, Cally Rushinal of Kentucky, Louise McDonald and her four children, Travis, Blair, Alyssa, Angelic, Crystal Pelletier and her four children, Vincent “Rocky” Pelletier, Aaron Pelletier, Aajae Pellitier, Vintessa Pelletier; as well as three great-great-grandchildren, Teyah, Keyanna and baby Adams; three brothers, Ronald, Warren, Clifford; and two sisters, Florence and Geraldine. He was predeceased by a daughter, Anaita Lee Rushinal; a brother, Gilbert; three sisters, Dorothy, Margaret, Ruthie; and many special friends. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev.
