HUDSON – Lionel J. Moulton, 85, the husband of Norma (Thurston) Moulton, died July 4, 2006, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born May 27, 1924, in Old Town, the son of Orlando and Sadie (Carr) Moulton. He was an Army veteran of World War II and in later years worked as a trackman for the Horse Racing Association and owned and raced some of his own horses. Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 59 years are two brothers, Francis and Wesley Moulton, both of Old Town; a sister, Patricia Rossignol of Connecticut; two grandchildren, Roland Woodward of Corinth and Marie Manwarren of New York; four great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Lionel was predeceased by his daughter, Donna L. Perkins; and a sister, Marguerite. Friends may call noon Friday until time of service 1 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Rd., Corinth, with Pastor Rick Libby officiating. Burial will be at Hudson Cemetery, Hudson.
