MILLINOCKET – Lloyd A. Mason, 75, passed away May 19, 2004, at a healthcare facility in Cape Elizabeth, following ill health. He was born Sept. 27, 1928, in Danforth, the son of James Mason Sr. and Helena (Laboutiler) Mason. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife, Imogene; three stepchildren, Lois Buckingham, Marie Campbell, and David Mason and their families; two sisters, Myrtle Mason Levesque, and Erma Mason Grover; and several nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Theresa Mason Cox; six brothers, Adrion, Burrill, James Jr., Maurick, Cecil, and Carl. Lloyd served his country in Germany and was a lifetime member of the American Legion, Post No 80. Following Lloyd’s retirement from Great Northern Woodlands in 1993, he kept active fishing, gun collecting, woodworking, and spending time with friends and family. At Lloyd’s request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
