BELFAST – Lloyd E. Jackson, 93, passed away Nov. 5, 2007, at Tall Pines, Belfast. He was born July 21, 1914, in Auburn, the son of Ivan and Flora (Ellis) Jackson. He worked as a maintenance man for Stinson’s Canning for more than 25 years and retired at age 65. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Wendell Jackson; and a grandson, J. Jay Jackson. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret A. Jackson of Belfast; son, Bruce Jackson and wife, Aloma, of Belfast; five grandchildren, Stacey, Lynette, Ronald, Mark and Karen; two great-grandchildren, Rose and Pearl. Family and friends are invited to call 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Smart Cemetery.
