BOWDOINHAM – Logan C. Sweet, 6, of Tegans Way, passed away unexpectedly May 9, 2008, at Mid Coast Hospital, Brunswick. He was born Jan. 22, 2002, in Nashua, N.H., son of Jon and Carolyn (Arndt) Sweet of Bowdoinham. Logan was a very active, intelligent and inquisitive child. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including soccer, snow-boarding, swimming and plant-ing seeds. He especially enjoyed playing with Thomas the Tank Engine, playing on the computer, doing his “moves,” loved Spiderman, numbers, coins and math, and could build the most amazing structures with Legos and K’Nex. He cherished time spent with his parents, sister, brother, cousins, family and friends. Logan was in kindergarten at Bowdoinham Community School. He is survived by his parents; sister, Jaclyn Sweet; brother, Ryan Sweet, all of Bowdoinham; grandparents, Harold Arndt of Freeport, Jim and Dale Holden of Houlton, Norma “Lola” Gagne of Waterville; great-grandmother, Jessie Brann Hering “GG” of Palmyra; Great Nana Helen Arndt of Freeport, Randy “Grampy” and Robin Sweet of Lincoln; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Logan was predeceased by his grandfather, Arthur “Pepere” Gagne. Family and friends are invited to visit 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond. A funeral service will take place 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at First Parish Congregational Church, 9 Cleaveland St., Brunswick, with Pastor Mary Baard officiating. Burial will be afterward at Bayview Cemetery, Bowdoinham. In Logan’s memory, donations may be made to Flying Changes Center for Therapeutic Riding, 334 Augusta Road, Topsham, ME 04086.
