GREENVILLE – Lois A. Young, 81, died Sept. 27, 2005, at a Bangor hospital, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born Feb. 20, 1924, in Sangerville, the daughter of Harriman and Elva (Hall) Anderson. She was an active member of the Shirley Community Church. Lois loved her family and many friends, and was always there to share their laughter and their tears. She will be missed by many who loved her. One of her favorite spots was at Wilson Pond, where she spent many happy hours with Bob and her family. She is survived by a son, Gregory and his wife, Lorna Young, of Shirley; a daughter, Ronda Young of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Kristie and her husband, Doug Boisvert, of New Hampshire, Ryan Young of Colorado, and Ashley Young of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Young; a son, Jeffrey Young; 12 brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Shirley Community Church, with the Rev. Dr. Everett Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Shirley Cemetery.
