HAMPDEN – Lois Christina Bennett passed away peacefully Dec. 11, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. Lois was born Dec. 7, 1923, in Willimantic, Conn., the daughter of George and Clara (Cote) Peterson. Lois was a longtime resident of Avalon Village, Hampden, and enjoyed the company of the other residents with whom she resided. Lois is survived by her son, Lee Bennett and wife, Pat, of Hampden; as well as two grandchildren, Jessica Bennett of Milbrook, N.Y., and Justin Bennett of Hampden. Lois was predeceased by her husband, Austin E. Bennett in 1998. In keeping with Lois’s wishes there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
