WESTON and PLEASANT HILL, Calif. – Lois H. Plourde, 78, died July 10, 2004, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born July 2, 1926, at Dixmont, the daughter of Darrell and Elsie (Moody) Hovey. Lois was a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church of Pleasant Hill, Calif., and a member of the Danforth Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, David E. Plourde of Auburn, Calif., Gregory S. Plourde and his wife, Rebecca, of California; one grandchild, Morgan; several nieces, nephews and many cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1998; her son, Peter, in 1985; and her brother, Darrell Hovey. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Dunn Funeral Home, with the Rev.
