HOULTON – Lois Marie Gentle, 74, died Dec. 12, 2006, at Madigan Estates. She was born June 4, 1932, in Houlton, the youngest daughter of Marim C. and Goldie (Colbath) Gentle. Lois was a member of Houlton United Methodist Church. In her early years, she participated in activities at Roger Randall Center and Madigan Estates had been Lois’s home for the past 15 years. She is survived by her sisters, Julia Craigs of Houlton, Elizabeth Gardner of Bar Harbor; nephews, James Craigs of Florida, Leslie and Nancy Gardner of Massachusetts; nieces, Ronda and Bob Foss of Phoenix, Lynne and Rusty Bradford of Bernard; several great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins who were very special to her; special friend and co-guardian, David Tuttle and his wife, Luanne; her extended family, her caretakers at Madigan Estates. She was predeceased by her parents; and two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Craigs and C. Holmes Gardner. Friends may call noon-1 p.m. Friday at Dunn Funeral Home, where services will be held 1 p.m. with the Rev. David Tuttle officiating.
