MARS HILL and AMITY Lorraine E. McKinney Knapp, 55, died April 27, 2007, at her residence. She was born Dec. 2, 1951, in Houlton, the daughter of Allan and Dawn (Shields) Knapp. Lorraine attended Amity schools, was a graduate of Hodgdon High School and a lifelong member of Amity Baptist Church. Lorraine is survived by her mother of Houlton; her son, Adam McKinney of New Hamp-shire; her daughter, Jennifer Huffman of Fort Fairfield; six grandchildren, Camille and Emma Huffman, Yanil, Jacob, Nicholas and Alexandra Mc-Kinney; her companion, Francis “Rusty” Pictou of Mars Hill; father of her children, Paul McKinney of Mars Hill; three brothers, David Knapp and his wife, Kim, of Florida, Duane Knapp and Perry Knapp, both of Houlton; four sisters, Alice Lindsay, Judy Putnam and her husband, Leigh, all of Amity, Betty Marshall of Ludlow and Charlotte Lightbody and her husband, Gary, of Hodgdon; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A time of remembrance and fellowship will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Amity Baptist Church.
