ST. AGATHA – Louis Guerrette, 62, died May 27, 2006, at his sons home in Newbury, N.H. after an eight month battle with brain cancer. He was born May 4, 1944, in St. Agatha, the son of Philip and Annette (Ouellette) Guerrette. Louis was a member of the American Legion Post 145 of Frenchville, worked at Fraser Paper for 42 years and was a member of the Arbor Day Foundation. He is survived by five sons, Philip and his wife, Carrie, of Newbury, N.H., Scott of Westbrook, Randy of South Burlington, Vt., Matthew of St. Agatha and Adam of Biddeford; two very special granddaughters, Mackenzie and Rylie; five brothers and their wives, Clifford and Theresa of St. Agatha, Bertrand and Barbara of Mount Vernon, Conn., Roland of St. Agatha, Armand and Maxine and Lucien and Constance Derosier, both of St. Agatha; five sisters, Rolande Morneault of Florida, Joan and her husband, Gerald Thibeault of Fort Kent, Theresa and her husband, Dave Dubois and Mary Ann and her husband, Robert Paradis, both of Plainville, Conn., and Dorothy of St. Agatha; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Robert “Pit”; two sisters, Cecile Morin and Lorraine Pelletier. Friends and relatives may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, and Thursday 8:30 a.m. until time of services at the Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be in the St. Agatha Lower Cemetery.
