BREWER – Louis “Mick” E. Mallory, 82, passed away Feb. 2, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre. He was known for his energetic personality and love of music and fishing. He received the Prestigious Jefferson Award in 1994, for performing outstanding public service for local communities in Maine. He is survived by one son and his wife, Michael Mallory and Diane of Orrington; two daughters and their husbands, Sharon and John Robinson of Orrington, Veronica “Ronnie” and Jon Williams of Augusta; one brother and his wife, Alvah Mallory and Marilyn of Orrington; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mickey was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Doris (Hart) Mallory. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Richard Noyes, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Orrington, officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. Tuesday, until time of the service. Spring interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Brewer.
