PRESQUE ISLE – Louise MacFarline, 75, died Monday morning, Jan. 23, 2006, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Wade, the daughter of Linton and Alvena (Corey) Tarbell. She worked for and retired from McCains Foods. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook. Louise is survived by four sons, Wayne, Tim and Bruce, all of Presque Isle and Darrell of Holden; two daughters, Cheryl Willette and Nancy O’Brien, both of Presque Isle; four sisters, Marie Little, Dorothy Cormier and Charlotte Tarbell, all of Mapleton and Alma Pelletier of Caribou; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clinton in 1992; and four brothers, Lee “Jackie” Dean, Chester Graves, Donald and Kenneth Dean. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. John “Jack” Stewart, officiating. Relatives and friends may call noon until time of service at the funeral home.
