GLENBURN – Joanne S. Lingley, 55, died Jan. 23, 2006, at her Glenburn home surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Machias, the daughter of Shirley and Gertrude (Hodgkins) Dorr. Joanne graduated from Narraguagus High School, Harrington and Beals College, Bangor. She was a co-owner of “More for Less” store in Harrington and for the last 20 years, a paralegal for Perry O’Brian, Esq., of Bangor. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dwight Lingley Sr.; one son and his wife, Dwight Lingley Jr. and Vicki, all of Glenburn; two brothers and their wives, Maynard Dorr and Fran of South Carolina, Kenneth Dorr and Donna of Brewer; three grandchildren, Dwight Lingley III, Kimberly Lingley, Ashley Smith; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and two special aunts, Leona Bailey and Eva Dorr. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, with the Rev. Richard Snell, officiating. Spring interment will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery, Glenburn.
