LINCOLN CENTER – Lucille C. Trott, 82, died April 25, 2007, of an illness at her home. She was born Sept. 2, 1924, in Lincoln. Lucille was known for her kindness. She took care of her mother, Floy Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Reginald Trott, when they were no longer able to care for themselves. She loved her home and did not care to go anywhere else. She liked to cook, can fruits and vegetables, and pick dandelion greens. Many people liked to go to Lucille’s for a good meal. She always tried to feed anyone who came to her house. She loved her dog, Kia, her friend and companion. A beloved friend, Rhonda Kimball, has gladly accepted to take Kia in their home. Eula Rossignol, her childhood friend since she was in the fifth grade, would come visit at her home a month or so each year. She also came and stayed with her during her illness so she would not be alone at night. What a wonderful friend. Lydia and Raymond Milner also had a part in Lucille’s life, they took her to doctor visits and shopping and then back to her house for a home cooked meal. She had many friends at Wing Wah, as it was one of her favorite places to eat. She also had many family members that were close to her and kept in touch, Bill and Darlene Martin, Marie and Oscar Cyr, Marie and Linwood Crockett, Cheryl and Gary Amero, and Lloyd Trott. Bill Head and family had been a blessing also, they had stopped and visited many times and had been very helpful with her sickness. Her favorite time of year was at Christmas and that’s where she tried to show her whole family how much she loved them with a big get-together. She loved shopping during the year to make that happen. Her children and grandchildren were the joys of her life. Lucille Trott is survived by four children, Ronald A. Trott and Jean of Lincoln, Beverly J. (Trott) Littlefield Nash, Brenda J. and Roland Chandler and Roger D. and Lucy Trott, all of Lincoln; eight grandchildren, Tammy, Terry, Troy, Tiffany, Roland Lee, Eric, Roger Jr., and Tracy; 15 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Samantha, Joshua, Justina, Kiristan, Chelsey, Kaitlyn, Shayna, Lindsay, Paige, Nicole, Dustin, Kortnie, Jessica, and Ashley; a great-great-grandson, Richard; a sister, Christine Tibbetts of Lincoln; two brothers, Bertrand Johnson of Connecticut, and Robert S. Johnson Jr. of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Leona and Marjorie, who both died at nine years old.
