SANGERVILLE – Lucille I. Osborne, 80, died May 17, 2004, at an Auburn nursing home. She was born March 2, 1924, in Fairfield, daughter of Walter and Louise (Foster) Ross. She married Robert W. Osborne on May 8, 1943, and was predeceased by him in 1995, after 52 years of marriage. She worked at Pride’s Manufacturing Company in Guilford for 32 years. She enjoyed being a dedicated wife and mother and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville. She was also predeceased by a brother, Connie Ross; and a granddaughter, Amy Jo Elderkin. She is survived by a son, Robert Osborne and his wife, Cindy, of Lewiston; three daughters and their husbands, Judy and Ed Grant of Sangerville, Jill and Jim Burgess of Lisbon, and Deborah and Galen Elderkin of Sangerville; a sister, Elizabeth Osborne of Kingston, R.I.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville, with the Rev. Father James Robichaud officiating. Burial will be in the Jackman Corner Cemetery in Sangerville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, 163 Lancaster St., Suite 160B, Portland, ME 04101-2406. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
