HODGDON – Lucille N. Mason, 92, died peacefully Feb. 24, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born July 19, 1911, at Hodgdon, the daughter of Olin and Hazel (Tidd) Quint. Lou was a faithful member of the Hodgdon Methodist Church and now rests with her Lord. She was devoted to her family and will be remembered as Lou or Grammy Mason to all that knew her. She is survived by her son, Charles Mason of Connecticut; two daughters, Betty Michaud of Brunswick, Gertrude “Bunny” Griffin and her husband, Daniel, of Hodgdon; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Mason of Connecticut; one sister, Virgie Ingraham; two brothers, Forrest Quint and Roy Quint, all of Hodgdon; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Carl W. Mason; a sister, Gertrude London; two brothers, Shirley and Clayton Quint; a lifelong friend, Gilbert (Gump) Murphy. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hodgdon Methodist Church with the Rev. Dan Blevins officiating.
