CALAIS – Kathleen L. Prout, 79, passed away at the home of her daughter, in Alexander, on Feb. 25, 2004, after a long illness. She was born in Alexander, the daughter of Curtis E. and Hazel M. Bohanon Frost. She lived in Calais for many years where she enjoyed gardening, and was an avid bird watcher. Her greatest joy in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Prout of Freeport in 1995; a daughter, Sharon Bonness in 1996; and a grandchild, Chad Roderick in 1986. She is survived by her daughters, Candace Robichaud of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Betty Lou Niles and her husband, Dana, of Alexander, Lynn Marie Roderick and her husband, Craig, of South Princeton; a son, Keith and his wife, Brenda, of Alexander; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in Calais Cemetery with Pastor Robert Hinton officiating. Arrangements by Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, Calais.
