MILLINOCKET – Lucille Perry, 66, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at a Millinocket hospital after a long illness. She was born Oct. 30, 1940, in St. Basile, New Brunswick, the daughter of Theodule and Gertrude (Saucier) Morneault. Lucille grew up in St. Francis, New Brunswick, and then moved to East Millinocket, where she met and married Charles “P.I.” Perry Sept. 7, 1959. She raised her family in East Millinocket, where she and “P.I.” lived until 1981, when they moved to Florida, where they lived and worked for 24 years. While in Florida, Lucille worked at Wal-Mart, where she made many, many friends before moving back to Maine in 2004. She loved to play bingo and greatly enjoyed picking and eating blueberries, as well as attending family gatherings. Family was the love of Lucille’s life. She was a past member of the Emblem Club, Millinocket. In addition to her mother and husband, both of Millinocket, she is survived by four children, Armand Perry of Ellsworth and his fiance, Alene Taylor, of Florida, Sara Beaumont and her husband, Richard, of East Millinocket, Lisa Anderson and her husband, Tim, of Naples and Marc Perry of Ellsworth and his companion, Jennifer Yanoshak, of Belgrade; three brothers, Maurice Morneault and his wife, Elaine, of Millinocket, Remi Morneault and his wife, Rita, of Hampden and Armand Morneault of Connecticut; a sister, Marie Foster of Millinocket; three grandchildren, Christopher and Taryn Beaumont and Sara Perry; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father, Lucille was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Robert Foster. Her family wishes to thank Dr. Garrett, the staff of CancerCare of Maine and also, the staff of Millinocket Regional Hospital. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 112 Maine Ave., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.
